The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (“REBAC”) of the National Association of REALTORS® who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria. Accredited Buyer Representatives are real estate professionals focused on all aspects of buyer representation and have the training necessary to meet the needs and desires of buyer’s in today’s market. Less than 3% of Realtors® nationwide have earned this valuable designation and right to be identified as an Accredited Buyer Representative.
CRS, Certified Residential Specialist
Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers, and brokers in real estate. Less than 4 percent of all licensed Realtors® are Certified Residential Specialists making this a coveted designation that recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education in the field.

SFR®, Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource
Realtors® with the SFR certification can be a trusted resource in navigating the complexities of short sales and foreclosures. As the market continues to adjust and the rules are adapted, working with a SFR is a valuable part of being able to see your transaction through. A SFR Certified Realtor® has completed training specific to these types of transactions and understands what it takes to successfully help buyers and sellers accomplish their goals.
MRP®, Military Relocation Professional
The National Association of REALTORS® confers the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification to REALTORS® who want to help military personnel and veterans find housing solutions that best meet their needs and allow them to take full advantage of their military benefits.

Realtors® who represent or reach out to diverse constituencies have created more opportunities for themselves and their firms, brought new perspectives to their state and local associations, and demonstrated the positive role that Realtors® can play in communities.
Today’s real estate markets are changing rapidly, and to prosper Realtors® continue to need new skills for handling transactions that involve minority buyers or sellers. NAR serves its members by teaching these skills through the professional development course At Home with Diversity®.
